Of these the sensational unbeaten colt Hoist The Flag, sired 51 stakes winners but his major contribution to his sire line is Alleged, who did as Ribot had done before him and won the Arc in two consecutive years, 1977-1978. He sired an exceptional 97 stakes winners, which included the Irish Derby winner Law Society. The dam of Alleged was Princess Pout by Prince John. Prince John is a formidable name in Thoroughbred breeding. He had winnings of $222,818 and was the sire of 5 champions and 111 Stakes winners and Steeplechase Stakes. He was believed by many to have perfect conformation and to carry the Blue Larkspur x factor gene(see Pedigree Info. page). Many feel that Prince John in the bloodline adds class and looks. prince John  Dam : Farwell Partner (Northern Dancer, Nearctic, Nearco).
