Sea Crestwas an International Grade A Showjumper and Mullacrewwas an International Grand Prix mare by the producer of Irish International jumpers, Nordlys TB. Mullacrew'a dam was Big Idea by the jump producing Thoroughbred stallion, Water Serpent.
Dam - by Marwood (Midsummer Night-Moghari) Midsummer Night was by Djeddah, whose sire was Djebel, son of Tourbillon. Moghari was by DJebe whose sire was also Djebel, by Tourbillon. Her dam was Roman Triumph, whose sire, Watling Street, was by Fairway and whose dam was Valiant, a grandaughter of Blandford. G/Dam - by Matchlike (Match-Alison) Match, born 1958, had a timeform of 135, was one of three important winners out of the French heroine mare, Relance, by Relic.The other two were Relko (Epsom Derby) and Reliance11. Alison was by Abernant, born 1946 and had a timeform rating of 142 (Owen Tudor, Hyperion) out of Rustom Mahal, whose dam was the great mare Mumtaz Mahal by The Tetrach.Abernant also the sire of Aberali, Aachen puissance winner and Abgar, a major sire in the Dutch jumping world, together with his brother, Tudor Minstrel, were regarded as two of the swiftest of modern English horses. Abernants sire Owen Tudor, is also sire of Impudent, dam of Imperious, who sired the great Master Imp. Alisons dam was Liberty (Fairway -Phalaris) out of Fancy Free by Stephan The Great by The Tetrach.
