Clover Hill RID.

Though registered in the Irish Draught stud book, Clover Hill was in fact, a half-bred horse. His inclusion at that time was considered appropriate because he had good draught pedigree on his dam side and he was the TYPE to produce quality draught stock for the stud book.

Sire: Golden Beaker TB.
 1965 Chestnut stallion. Height: 16hh. Bone: 8".
Golden Beaker was an approved thoroughbred stallion by Arctic Storm. His dam, Corbally Princess was a grandaughter of the great Precipitation TB. Precipitation is also the grandsire of Cottage Son and Furioso.

Ohilly Beauty was by Tara ( Grey. Foaled 1943 )
Tara's dam, Union Hall was by the very influential Woodranger RID.


Clover Hill did not perform himself but became a major sire of jumpers in Ireland. At the time of his death, there were 1730 foals registered to him.
2001-2002 WBFSH he ranked 4th. with 39 offspring jumping at International level.
