Brehan Lass RID. Sire : Legaun Prince Dam : Brehan Lass11 (Kilcolman) Brehan Lass, who died in 2004 aged 25 was a multiple winning mare both showjumping and in the showring. She jumped to Grade B level before starting a show and breeding career. In her showing career she was placed 81 times and won sixty four first prizes. She also won the Kerrygold RID mare championship in Millstreet. She produced 14 foals in all, two of which were Grade A showjumping stallions. Grade A showjumper Beline Tynagh Gold and Cradilo a Grand Prix winner in America. Cradilo has been chosen to perform showjumping demonstrations as part of The Irish Village at WEG 2010. She also produced Brehan's Pride. This superb mare was to outshine her dam in the showring. She was placed 122 times of which 99 were firsts. She too won the Kerrygold Rid Mare Championship,the National Irish Draught Show Champion and Champion RID Mare at RDS. She was also crowned Balmoral RID Champion. |
