Started by Sean & Rita Dempsey in 2005, KingCarra Horses is a family run enterprise dedicated to breeding traditional Irish horses with strong blood lines. What originally started out as a pastime to battle the "empty nest" syndrome, has developed into an all consuming passion & love of the Irish Horse. 
 Our first purchase, Gurraun Fleur, a Premier Broodmare  by Carrabawn View, started a process which finds us today dedicated to the promotion & development of this wonderful breed.
 The key to putting the Irish horse back on top is performance.
Our breeding program uses the best of Irish Draught bloodlines,bringing with them the temperament,brain and soundness that is celebrated all over the world. To this add the speed,agility and spirit of the Thoroughbred....
